When you order THE MUSIC OF YOUR NAME, you're not only giving a gift that's one-of-a-kind - you're giving a gift that's inescapably personal to the recipient - because it's based on his, her or their names.
You send us the name(s) of the person(s) you wish to honor with this gift, and we create a musical composition based on that name/those names. Using a classical compositional device, soggetto cavato, we create the melody, then develop it using 16th Century Counterpoint, a technique chosen for the elegant results it produces.
 We write the piece the old-fashioned way - by hand on music manuscript paper - then play it into a computer.
We use the computer to print a copy of the sheet music and an description of the methods used, then create an instrumental recording of the work.
This recording is burned onto a CD, onto which is affixed a custom label.
The whole package - sheet music, description and CD - is boxed and sent to you (or directly to the recipient, according to your instructions).
